Frequency sources have extensive and important applications in modern radar,satellite-guided navigation,electromagnetic interference,and anti-jamming systems.With the rapid development of electronic systems in these areas,the requirements for various parts of the system are getting higher and higher,and the frequency sources are also facing constant technological innovation and upgrading.Therefore,the study of high-quality frequency sources has extremely important significance and has become a hot topic in various countries.The core application of the frequency source is to obtain high-quality frequency signals.This article first briefly introduced the basic composition of frequency sources(phase detectors,low-pass filters,voltage-controlled oscillators,etc.).then analyzed the transfer function of phase-locked loops,and focus on analyzing the noise of the phase-locked loop input.Based on the above analysis,the program design,processing and debugging of a multi-channel frequency source based on FPGA are finally realized.The research of this dissertation is mainly divided into the following three parts:(1)the comprehensive design of the clock reference module and the real debugging analysis;(2)the comprehensive design and physical debugging analysis of each channel frequency source module;(3)power supply module and FPGA-based Comprehensive design and physical debugging analysis of the control module.The final test results show that the phase noise of the 1.2~1.5GHz output frequency source channel is better than-113dBc/Hz@10kHz,and the harmonic and spurious indexes are better than 40 dBc and 60 dBc respectively;the phase noise of the 2.5~2.8GHz output frequency source channel Better than-105 d Bc/Hz@10kHz,harmonics and spurious indicators are better than 44 dBc and 60 dBc,respectively.This article has also carried on the profound summary and the analysis to the question which appears in the design and the debugging process,has laid the foundation for the future further frequency source research.
