The Study Of The Diffusion Behavior Of Internet Rumors And Public Opinion System Development

With the development of economy and the progress on technology,the use of network has been common in usual life and between people the cost for communication has been greatly reduced.On one hand,it sped up the spread of usual information in news or other media forms;on the other hand,the diffusion of rumor became more rapid and more harmful at the same time,which made social monitoring and supervision more difficult but greatly important.Currently the research on rumor monitoring and control is mainly focused on two areas: first is to specifically analyze the cause and features of rumor with social and psychological methods;second is by text segmentation,webpage crawling and other means to track the trend of social communication.Quantitatively research on the law of rumor diffusion by the complex network simulation technology was just started.On the selection of Internet generation,the study now is focused on scale-free network and small world network,and then the calculation of information diffusion is mainly done in the way of transmission dynamics.When we put in rumor information,if we need to know people's altitude to it and calculate its change we have to use the independent cascade model and the linear threshold model.Generally,this research method lacks enough consideration on the altitude of rumor maker in the diffusing process of rumor.According to this,on the basis of previous studies,this paper assumes that the diffusion of rumor on specific social network is related to people's ability of identification.To verify this point,a multi-agent social network model based on NETLOGO platform was established,and the process of rumor diffusion was reproduced with the network simulation technology.With many times of manipulation and analysis this paper found that when the diffusion process of rumor finished the numbers of people who believed it and who saw through it had nothing to do with people's communicative tendency,and the percentage for the sum of the people who believed the rumor and who saw through it in all people was directly proportional to the deviation degree of people's identification ability and quadratic inversely proportional to people's average identification ability.As the model above only showed the affection of people's identification ability to rumor diffusion but did not tell us the interaction happened between neighbor nodes,this paper assumes that the people who have higher identification ability could change the altitude to rumor of the people who have lower identification ability,then it got the results that the final diffusion range of rumor is positively correlated with the mean of identification ability and finally the ratio of the people who saw through the rumor and who believed the rumor was negatively correlated with the mean of identification ability.
