With the continuous development of communication technology,antenna as a key component of mobile terminal and base station has become a popular research object.Compared with traditional microstrip antenna,dielectric resonator antenna has the advantages of small size,simple structure,high efficiency and low cost.The conventional dielectric resonator antenna is made of ceramic and other dielectric materials.In recent years,various new dielectrics has been applied to dielectric resonator antenna design.Glass is widely used because of its transparent appearance and low cost.The design of dielectric resonator antenna using glass can improve the artistic ornamentation of antenna,and provide the possibility of multi-functional integration.Research and development of a new type of high performance glass dielectric resonator antenna is of great significance to the development of communication technology.Based on K9 glass dielectric,three new types of glass resonator antennas are studied and designed in this paper.At the same time,a multi-functional video surveillance system is developed based on the designed glass dielectric antenna.The main contents and innovations involved are as follows:1.A decorative antenna based on 3D laser engraving technology is designed.The antenna design of dielectric resonator is realized by exciting dielectric resonator with microstrip line and slot structure.Ansoft HFSS is used to model and simulate the antenna performance,K9 glass is used to make antenna resonator,3D laser carving technology is used to modify the glass dielectric resonator.Finally,the designed antenna is fabricated and tested.2.In order to improve the gain of the first antenna,a high gain glass dielectric resonator antenna is designed by loading metamaterial.The metamaterial is loaded on both sides of the dielectric resonator with a double-sided rectangular patch structure,which reflects the lateral wave of the dielectric resonator and suppresses the internal surface wave of the feed substrate.Finally,the radiation direction gain of antenna is increased.3.In order to improve the bandwidth of the first antenna,the asymmetric slot actuated dielectric resonator is used to realize hybrid multi-mode excitation,the feed structure is loaded with symmetrical slot to realize single-slot mode excitation,and the antenna structure parameters are optimized to realize the design of broadband hybrid dielectric resonator antenna.4.In order to verify the practicability of the first decorative antenna,a 2.4 GHz wireless video surveillance system is designed,which combines Hi3516 A embedded processor andIMX178 camera to collect,correct,process and compress data of the monitored object.
