With the wireless communication technology,modern communication antennas have developed towards broadband,miniaturization,high gain and low cost,in recent years.With the progress of science and technology,people's demand for communication efficiency and quality is higher and higher.The research of new base station antenna has obviously become a hot field of microwave communication engineering.Microstrip patch antenna has simple structure and thin section plane structure.It can directly integrate one module with active device or microwave circuit,so it is suitable for the base station antenna unit.The feed network is simple and can be processed with the antenna at the same time.It can be used in mass production and so on.In this paper,wide-band microstrip patch antennas and slot antenna with plane slotting are studied extensively.An inverted T slot microstrip patch antenna and a dual L microstrip coupling fed patch antenna are used to form array antennas respectively.The design technology of broadband power division network is studied.The influence of feed network and multiple array element coupling on field density,power,lobe pattern and phase of the antenna.It mainly includes the following aspects.1.A microstrip patch antenna suitable for FDD-LTE/WCDMA is proposed.The new type antenna opens the inverted T slot on the radiation patch to change the surface current path of the rectangular patch to introduce additional resonance to increase the bandwidth.At the same time,a new type of feed structure was introduced and a vertical feed plate was used to form a linear feed to improve the impedance matching characteristics of the antenna.Modeling and simulation of antenna by using 3D electromagnetic simulation software HFSS.By analyzing the shape and size of the slot on the radiation patch,we can effectively improve the impedance bandwidth of the antenna and get a wider band by changing the size,location and shape of the slot.The simulation results showed that the working frequency of the antenna were 1.7-2.3GHz whenS11?-10dB,and the relative bandwidths of the antenna were 28%.Moreover,it had good unitary radiation.The peak gain of 1?2 antenna array was 12.6dBi,which could be applied to the mobile communication base station of FDD-LTE and WCDMA.2.A tie planar microstrip antenna for TDD-LTE is proposed.The antenna mainly adopts the technology of increasing bandwidth,including:Double L microstrip feed plate is used to feed the radiation patch for feeding;method of opening a triangular notch on both sides of the radiant plate to change the surface current path of the patch to increase the bandwidth by introducing an additional resonance.Modeling and Simulation of antenna by using HFSS as a three-dimensional electromagnetic simulation software.By changing the size,location and shape of the triangular notch on the radiation patch,and the location and size of the dual L microstrip feeding plate,the impedance bandwidth of the antenna can be effectively improved,and a wider band can be obtained.The simulation results showed that the working frequency of the antenna were 1.89-2.43GHz whenS11?-10dB and the relative bandwidths of the antenna were 25%.With this antenna as a unit,the 2 element array antenna is realized by designing the T type power feed network.The radiation characteristics of the 1?2 array antenna are good,the maximum gain is 12.28dBi,and the structure is simple,and it is easy to be processed in large scale.It can be applied to TDD-LTE mobile communication base station.
