Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Electronic Records Management

The collection,storage and utilization of electronic records is a new field of archival work for Fujian Provincial Archives.Since 2008,Fujian Provincial Archives has carried out some active explorations and made a great deal of efforts on the management of electronic records.However,effective management of electronic records is a relatively systematic and complicated project.The deeplier our understanding of electronic records management continues,the more obvious difficulties and obstacles we are facing.Therefore,through literature reading,comparative analysis,expert consultation,investigationsuch methods,this paper analyzes the current situation and problems of electronic records management in Fujian Provincial Archives,and propose the following five suggestions:change the thinking way of electronic records management,establish informatization thinking,technical thinking,resource-sharing thinking and service network thinking;give priority to top level design and planning,actively promote the standardization of electronic records management;build up the trust in virtual carrier of electronic form,improve management system,strategy,method and process to achieve a single set of archiving and management system of Monorail as soon as possible;focus on test of authenticity,integrity,availability,security in the process of electronic records management;create brand information and refine the quality information to meet the query demand of different units,different people and different levels.It is hoped that these countermeasures can provide reference for improving the management level of electronic records in Fujian Provincial Archives.
