With the rapid development of science and technology and Internet technology,the increasing demand for online games,the domestic game industry in the environment is not yet mature in the case of rapid manufacture template type to occupy the market rate,the influence on the effective communication of the domestic game information in the user interface,the design of the 3D-MMORPG user interface,graphics,color text,uneven,to a certain extent interfere with the overall game experience for the game player.In this paper,semiotics as the main theory basis,according to the 3D-MMORPG characteristics of the game,extraction and encoding of 3D-MMORPG graphic symbols in the user interface;and the qualitative and quantitative cognition,color symbols and symbols;arrangement of the elements of the proposed design method and design criteria.The main research is as follows:The investigation and analysis of the development of the MMORPG user interface and the status quo of the domestic online game user interface;combined with the specific case of the 3D-MMORPG user interface concepts;according to the domestic and foreign similar game interface research,summed up the 3D-MMORPG user interface components,and completed the function division,and on the basis of visual capacity limit,will it is divided into an interface and two interface can be hidden.With the same type of game market,user interface,semiotic classification,interface extraction and encoding based on graphic symbols,color symbols,cognitive symbol,color harmony of qualitative and quantitative analysis,the four aspects of text and layout are analyzed,the relationship between 3D-MMORPG and semiotics.Convey the characteristics and visual cognition with symbolic meaning,the skill bar,a small map,the whole social system in the 3D-MMORPG user interface involved in graphics,color and text symbols are analyzed,summarized the influence of symbol design factors exist.Based on the usability principle,the design method and the design criterion of the full3D-MMORPG user interface are presented.In the " Mabinogi 2" as an example,the symbol of the game elements in the user interface level interface,menus,icons and shortcuts,map skills,social information,personalinformation according to the design method and detailed design criteria.Three rate from the interface element index,user satisfaction and task plot error of "Mabinogi 2" and the existing "Monster Hunter online" user interface usability testing,test results show that the "Mabinogi 2" good user interface,to meet the operational needs of game player.It provides a reference for the design of all 3D-MMORPG user interface based on semiotics.
