ZigBee technology has the characteristics of low cost,low power consumption and low data rate,and they are commonly used in wireless sensor networks and other wireless networks.ZigBee tree topology network is the most widely used,Although the ZigBee Specification provides a distributed address assignment mechanism and the routing algorithm,in practice it has several limitations,for example,the measure which set a large number of network addressing space limits the network depth,and may cause the problem of node-isolation.This measure can't be effectively used in the actual larg-scale scene,so the research content of this paper are the addressing algorithm and routing algorithm.This paper analyses the calculation of network addresses for distributed address assignment scheme and the routing algorithm in detail,then puts forward with the problem of limited depth of network and node-isolation using this scheme,then proposes a flexible addressing algorithm based on prefix-codes,moreover this paper presents the node updating algorithm and routing algorithm in detail.The basic thought of this scheme is that make ZigBee flexible on establishing network,combining with the specific application scenarios,the 16-bit network address can be used more effectively and it reduces the average updating cost.The simulation experiment results show that the network use paper's addressing algorithm based on prefix-codes and depth is not limited,the average updating cost of establishing networks on different number of devices is very small,and the value is in a relatively stable range.In fact,once the network is established,the network addresses will not be updated frequently,so the average updating cost of this scheme is completely acceptable.
