With the development of science and technology and industrial production,in real life,high-precision measurements of three-dimensional contour of the surface,geometry,various molds and freeform surfaces and surface deformation are in an increasing need.The characteristics and limitations of traditional contact measurement methods encourage people to seek new ways to meet the application requirements of production and life,which lead to the advent of non-contact measurement methods.Currently,non-contact optical measurement method with characteristics of high resolution,no damage,and quick speed data acquisition is recognized as the most promising three-dimensional profile measurement method.However,despite the maturity of technology and research on non-contact optical measurement methods used in the surface properties of the object deformation measurement and outline measurement,there are still some limitations,for example,small sizes,low measurement efficiency,small range of applications,high costs and so on.As a non-contact measurement method,the phase measurement profilometry become one of the hot topic of research in the international arena in recent years.Phase measurement profilometry use a computer to design stripe gratings with certain width and space,projecting onto the surface of the object through a projector,and then get fringe images with a CCD camera.The strips changes with the object points at different height,and it is considered that the streak carries a high degree of deformation information of the object according to the communication theory.The fringes of the deformation height information is extracted by using triangle method.This technology is widely used in reverse engineering,computing,machine vision,CAD / CAM design,medical diagnosis,mold design,quality control and high-speed line inspection areas.This paper takes projection fringe profilometry measurement as a key technology to be applied to the three-dimensional contour of the surface deformation measurement studies by studying the existing measurement methods of three-dimensional contour of the object surface deformation.By analysising the phase measurement and making experiment,reconstruction result of the three-dimensional data points of the measured surface displays that betterexperimental results were obtained by using phase contour measurement system in a series of surface profile measurements.Detailed research and analysis are made and experimental results show that the phase measurement profilometry applied to three-dimensional surface profile measurement has some practical significance.
