Thesis Research On The Image Construction Of Female Anchors In China's Game Broadcast

As the growth of broadband and electric contest industry,webcast has rapidly developed into a fresh kind of Internet cultural industry with a growth trend in its user population,economic gain and influence over the past two years.And along with the fast development of live game industry,for the electronic sports' own place in the internet based on its deep background of traditional games,rich game play ability as well as the increasingly opening up for its groups,webcast has bred a brand new host type known as video game streamers.Female streamers,the content producer in the live broadcasting studio,play a significant component among the groups of webcast.However,nowadays it seems that the word ‘female streamer' is easily considered as a pronoun of erotic streamer,sometimes because of the public's cognitive bias,even as a pronoun of “struggle”(which means struggling for fame and money even in a way of disgrace),“fraud” and “lowness” in the current network environment.However,there is a big difference between live game broadcast and other live broadcast such as talent live show,reality live show and so on.During the process of game live broadcast,the way of the female game streamers' image construct has certain particularity that its main output is the game screen.As for the diversity of the female streamers' images during their live broadcasting,the study on the streamers' image directly promotes the sound development of webcast industry in China.As we all know,DouYu TV,the maturest live game broadcast platform in China with the maximal number of users,and with the maturity of its technology and content production also being at the forefront in the live broadcast industry,is chosen as a case study for this thesis.By the analysis of the room constructions of the live broadcasting studios and the personal images of the female streamers,the thesis was aimed to study the features of the female streamers in the live game broadcast.And by the observation of these hot female game streamers,it summarized several typical female game streamers' features and reflected the construct of the female streamers' imagine.Moreover,it was of great significance to study what image the female game streamers constructed and how they did during the game-playing period.Only on the basis of knowing the real right rule of constructing the streamer imagine can the female streamers not be turned into a pronoun of “vulgarity”(struggle,fraud,and lowness.)...
