Microwave anechoic chamber can simulate non-reflection in free space.It is often used to measure scattering characteristic of radar target,measure parameters of antenna,do docking experiments of radio control equipment and do electromagnetism simulation experiments of different kinds.Testing system of microwave anechoic chamber is used to measure and evaluate fully anechoic chamber reflection level,multiple paths loss,the homogeneous of the field of semi anechoic chamber and damping of uniformed field.In this thesis,automatic test system and software were developed to measure the performance index of the microwave anechoic chamber.By comparing to former testing systems,a more portable moving scanning frame was included in this new system.A nonmetal vertical lifting lever was adopted to decrease the measuring error due to the reflection of the testing jig.In addition,a tri-axial cradle was also designed to control orientation,pitching and polarization by program.The new testing system solves the synchronization issues of antenna polarization rotation between emission and receiving during multiple paths loss measurement.Listed below is the major work of this thesis.The first chapter introduced the research background of this system and analyzed the research status at home and abroad.The second chapter showed the fundamental theory of microwave anechoic chamber test and prepared for choosing measuring methods.The third chapter designed the overall solution of the system based on analysis of fundament theory.Demands for each part and realization ways were also mentioned.The forth chapter showed the detailed models and technical indexes of the hardware.The hardware platform was built.The fifth chapter designed the control software of the system for controlling the platform and analyzing measuring results.The sixth chapter verified the system both in lab and in real test.Lastly,conclusions were drawn and future work was prospected.
