In recent years, microwave anechoic chamber techniques have developed rapidly with electromagnetic interference (EMI) heavier. Therefore, as the platform of indoor measurement microwave, anechoic chamber is very important. At first, the paper introduces microwave anechoic chamber design techniques. In general, microwave anechoic chamber can be designed in the following steps:1. Decide microwave anechoic chamber dimensions in terms of measurement project and EUT (equipment under test) dimensions.2. Choose some kind of absorber in terms of the performance requests of quiet zone of microwave anechoic chamber.3. Test microwave anechoic chamber before EUT is layed out. If the measurement consequence meets, design scheme of microwave anechoic chamber is qualified. Otherwise, two steps must be examined. Then, change the setup of absorbers until to meet the needs.According to the introduction above, the author presents that reflectivity level and NSA (Normal site attenuation) of quiet zone in microwave anechoic chamber is simulated and measured. Firstly, Using GO (Geometrical optics) reflectivity level of quiet zone in microwave anechoic chamber is simulated. Then compare them with measured reflectivity level individually and observe that they tally well.At last, Using Geometrical optics and mirror method field strengths at five points (center, front, rear, left, right) of quiet zone in EMC anechoic chamber that deviated away from 0 degree, 5 degree, 10 degree, 15 degree is simulated individually. And then the according NSA is calculated. Moreover, NSA at five points in quiet zone that deviated away from 0 degree, 5 degree, 10 degree, 15 degree is measured individually. At last, the conclusions show simulated NSA nearly agrees with measured NSA.So, the model of anechoic chamber that author presents is right.
