Microwave anechoic chamber is an indoor measuring platform to simulate "free space", which could perform radio test of different types especially the antenna specifications measurement and radar target scattering property measurement. The key specification for darkroom electrical property is reflecting level. The study destination and meaning of the paper are putting forward the theoretical model of calculating the reflecting level of static area, guiding the size selection of the darkroom designing and absorbing material selection, and ensuring the performance requirement of the darkroom. The following parts are mainly included:1. Discuss the designing technology of the microwave darkroom, mainly including following steps: 1) Determining the size of the darkroom according to the size of test items and under-tested subjects. 2) Selecting appropriate absorbing material via simulating calculation according to specifications requirement of static area performance. 3) Testing the performance of the microwave anechoic chamber to verify whether it achieves the designing requirement.2. Introduce the advantage and disadvantage of the three types of microwave darkroom, i.e. rectangular, conical and flared. The calculating clew of the reflectivity level of the microwave anechoic chamber static area is using the geometrical optics principle.4. The qualification of the reflecting level of the microwave darkroom.
