In recent years, microwave anechoic chamber techniques have developed rapidly with electromagnetic interference(EMI) gets heavier. And it's application objects from conventional antenna entend to automobile or aircraft, etc. In the military domain, it's common to test missiles, aircraft, or similar weapons platforms for their radar cross-section in an attempt to reduce detectability by means of radar. So, as the platform of indoor measurement microwave anechoic chamber is very important.First, the paper discusses microwave anechoic chamber design techniques before the reflectivity level of quiet zone is calculated. In general, microwave anechoic chamber can be designed in the following steps:1.Deciding microwave anechoic chamber dimensions in terms of measurement project and EUT(equipment under test) dimensions.2.Choosing some kind of absorber in terms of the performance requests of quiet zone of microwave anechoic chamber.3.Testing builded microwave anechoic chamber before EUT is layed. If the measurement consequence meets, so, the designed scheme of microwave anechoic chamber is qualified. Otherwise, step two must be examined. Then, change absorber until to meet the requests.Second, the paper calculates some RFSS(radio frequency simulation system) anechoic chamber to use GO(Geometrical optics) and gives the detailed calculating course and consequence. Then compares it with measured consequence, observes that they tally well. So, the model of microwave anechoic chamber is right.
