The emergence of social media changes the channels of public libraries brand image communication.As an important carrier of public libraries,social media is an important tool for readers to get relevant information about public libraries,and also an important platform for public libraries to spread their own brand image.In the aspect of public libraries brand image communication,social media is characterized by its immediacy of communication,convenience of use and richness of content,all of which provides a good approach for the public library image communication,and strengthen the two-way interaction between the reader and public libraries,and is helpful for public libraries to establish a good brand image.Brand image communication is the focus of this paper,and LIS library image recognition system is the theoretical basis of this paper,thus this paper discusses the embodiment?problems?effects and countermeasures of public library image recognition elements in the process of social media communication.This paper mainly has four parts,just as follows:Part one:Based on LIS theory,this paper analyse the meaning of public library brand image?the elements of image recognition system?the value of image communication and the theory of social media,the relationship between each other is also included;Part two:To analyse public library brand image communication under the perspective of social media via specific case,this paper takes the social media of Fujian Provincial Library(mainly referring to micro-blog,Wechat)as the research object,and from three aspects of the concept of public library brand image,that is mind identity?visual identity and behavioral identity,to analyse the content of social media,to discuss the current situation,characteristics and problems of the use of social media to spread the brand image in the public library;Part three:To conduct a questionnaire survey on readers,get the basic information about the use of social media,grasp readers' evaluation towards library social media,in order to study the inherent relevance between library image communication and readers'feedback in the use of social media;Part four:To sum up the lack of spreading the brand image of public library in the use of social media,then put forward specific solutions.At the same time,predicting the development trend and prospect of the social media that is used to carry out the brand image communication of public library.
