Today's world is built on the sales of products.The sales methods are more and more perfected.Branding is one of such methods.In today's era of globalization,and rapid movement of people to new places,for business,tourism,and educational purposes,the place,cities become a kind of products for sale.And like every sale,in order to be effective,it also needs effective branding.Of course,as in the case of products,the image of the place can not overtake its real features,because then it is a very short-sighted strategy.However,it is also unfortunate if the image of the product does not keep up with its attributes.And this is the case for many cities,including Chinese ones.Chongqing also belongs to such cities,probably because does not have a recognizable brand,at least in Europe.Marketing activities,as I mentioned earlier,do not keep up with the real development and potential of the city.A city that has many additional attributes to build a distinctive image,and increase your brand awareness quickly.This work is to show that the creation of Chongqing branding is not only possible,but even necessary.In this work I analyze the various stages of activities for create the Chongqing branding,from analyzing the brand's essence,through building an effective strategy,to the proposal to plan a Spicy World branding campaign in Europe through Social Media.I choose the place as Europe,and the way as Social Media,because Chongqing,as the place where the railway connection from Europe-part of silk road begins,should pay more and more attention to Europe.This fact cannot be underestimated.Social media,is a branding new tool,through which sales,marketing and branding campaigns are increasingly effectively carried out.Despite the fact that,just like the branding itself,this is a relatively young field,in the case of a branding campaign aimed at young people with specific interests,living on another continent,social media is the cheapest,most convenient,and the most precise solution.
