"DUKU" is currently active in the traditional publishing market,It has been praised by intellectuals for its craftsman spirit in making books,and it operates in good condition over ten years.In recent years,it has gradually become the focus of academic research.DUKU is a typical elite culture book whose communicators and readers are all intellectuals.The text of DUKU is mainly based on history and culture,supplemented by manuscripts in society and life as well as in science.Therefore,it reflects an obvious humanity core of elite culture: responsibility and concerns.In the era of consumerism,the elite culture spread by DUKU is no longer the ideological form full of class superiority like traditional elitism,nor direct thought inculcation.Under the advocacy of "interesting,materialistic and responsible",DUKU has always adhered to a rational,objective and simple attitude,at the same time,it digs information behind the scenes,dissects the details of the way to achieve knowledge services,and promotes the spirit of enlightening thoughts.In terms of specific communicating strategies,DUKU chooses to integrate elite culture with popular culture appropriately,stresses on both depth and interest of the content,writes in story but full of emotional restraint.DUKU therefore is neither highbrow as traditional elite culture,nor superficial as popular culture,which is nowadays used to all levels of readers,including intellectuals.Therefore,DUKU is a kind of new elite culture,not restricted in a certain small group,but full of social universality.For this,interpreting DUKU text from the perspective of elite cultural communication symbolizes the particularity of times and has realistic value.Even though the boundary between elite culture and popular culture has long been vague,elite culture is still necessarily to be underlined,especially the highly time-adaptable elite cultural media DUKU,whose text contains profound cultural elements and communication strategies.In fact,studying DUKU texts is to analyze the essence of elite culture communication in new era.Through methods of content analysis,close reading and case study,dissecting the topic selection tendency,narrative mode and humanistic core of the text one by one,then commenting its disseminating experiences,the survival wisdom of DUKU in modern times thus gets highlighted,colleagues absorb some reference from this.In addition,interpreting DUKU as a case of elite culture and comparing it with popular culture can,in a certain sense,achieve the effect of cultural disenchantment,and thus highlight the due social value of elite culture.DUKU is not perfect.Due to the emphasis on story and objectivity of the article,the text is inevitably cumbersome and lack of thought,so the quality of some articles is greatly reduced.In addition,the growing number of second-hand articles is also a problem,even if the editor can give reasonable explanation for it,the original stamina of DUKU is obviously somewhat weak,its author team needs to be cultivated.
