The television with its powerful advantages, has become the most popular, the most rapid mass media.The impact of television culture on the audience has also stronger than any other form of culture,and it has become a strong cultural force of transforming the society and human.However,in the wave of commercial, popular culture came along with the television and occupy the vast majority of seats in the TV culture, which greatly impacted or undermined traditional culture and elite culture.The elite culture of television programs is in touble, and its social function and cultural function can not play well. The author believes that we should attach importance to the elite culture of television programs and promote them develop healthy,for they are an important carrier of elite culture.we should make sure that they could play the role of "arming people" "guiding people" "shaping people" and "encouraging people",and promote the full development of political, economic and culture, achieving the civilization and progress of the whole society.This paper is going to analyze the status quo and the plight of the elite culture of television programs, and get some enlightenments and recommendations through analyzing the specific TV program "us". The full text is divided into four chapters. The first chapter, an overview of the connotation and development of the elite culture of television programs; The second chapter analyzes the existence value and the living environment of the elite culture of television programs,and exploring the reasons of the plight of the elite culture of television programs from various angles. The third chapter selects CCTV "us" program as the research sample, analyzing the positioning and the content of program, the form of innovation and other characteristics, trying to sum up some general rules. The fourth chapter summarizes some tactics for the elite culture of television programs out of the woods in terms of merging the elegance and the popular, putting humane care into the program as well as taking the brand-oriented strategy. Anyway,I hope it could be useful for the development of China's elite culture of television programs.
