With the continuous development of social media,people's behavior and psychology will change.The WeChat Moments as a social networking platform now popular,widely used by students.Users can publish text through the Wetchat Moments,pictures and other content,Fang Xing study found that WeChat Moments has become a user impression management platform.Therefore,this paper discusses the impact of impression management on the two types of information types and information presented in the WeChat Moments.In this study,317 college students in a university in Suzhou were selected as research subjects,and the questionnaire survey method was used to study the behavior and impression management strategies of college students.First of all,the use of WeChat use behavior questionnaire,the use of WeChat circle of college students to investigate the situation,the results show that college students use WeChat circle of friends more frequently,the purpose of friends is mainly to consolidate the relationship with friends and expression and talk,college students do not like this.College students WeChat friends in the circle of praise frequently,and set more than the mood will become better.There are positive information and negative information in the circle of friends.At the same time,through the writing of "WeChat friend circle impression management strategy scale",the status of impression management of college students was investigated and found that the surveyed college students adopted the positive impression management strategy more than negative defense and fuzzy generalization impression management strategy.In experiment 1,the experimental design of 2 * 2 group was used to study the influence of information type(positive/negative)and the number of information(multi/less)on impression management strategy.The experimental results show that:(1)the number of information has no significant effect on the impression management strategy.(2)The information type has no significant effect on the impression management strategy.(3)the interaction between the information type and the number of information is not significant.In experiment 2,the experimental design of 2 * 2 group was used to explore the influence of information type(positive/negative)and the number of information(multi/less)on impression management strategy.The results show that:(1)the information type has a significant impact on the impression management strategy,showing positive information subjects will be more active use of the impression management strategy.(2)The number of information on the common impression management strategy has a significant impact on the number of positive information,the subjects will be more active thinking management strategy,the more negative information,subjects will use more negative defense impression management strategy.(3)The type of information and the number of information interaction significantly,in the same information type conditions,the more the number of information,the role of the type of information is more significant.
