With the continuous development of Internet technology and mobile terminal technology based on micro-blog,the WeMedia platform based on Wechat and Weibo began to develop rapidly.The new pattern of "Internet plus" is to provide a hitherto unknown opportunity for development of the WeMedia platform.With the increasing development of the media industry,the demanding of valuation of WeMedia platform gradually shows.Because of its unique operation and business model,WeMedia pays more attention to customer value development,and the existing valuation methods only focuses on the level of corporate earnings or cash flow and other financial factors,which often ignores the potential value of the user,thus it can not accurately reflect its value.This thesis attempts to draw the results of previous studies,to build a comprehensive consideration of the enterprise's current business situation and customer value from the WeMedia valuation model,which plays a certain role to further improve the existing valuation theory.Firstly,this thesis introduces the background and significance of We Media valuation briefly;secondly,it introduces We Media platform features,and the source of value from the media industry development status of the simple explanation;thirdly,it analyzes and summarizes the previous research results,aims to sort out the existing enterprise valuation methods,based on the difference between traditional media platform and the emerging enterprise.It points out that the traditional enterprise valuation model that ignores the business based media platform from the user defects,especially now one of the most perfect,the DCF model is used most widely,which only focuses on the financial factors of enterprises,and do not pay any attention to the influence of non-financial factors,ignoring the fundamental influence on the user value from WeMedia platform of valuation;then,according to the above deficiencies found,the factors of customer value demonstrates influence into the valuation model,it builds the new evaluation model for WeMedia.After that,this thesis holds the empirical analysis with Weibo company,verifying the reliability of the model,and combined with the discounted cash flow model for comparative analysis,further identifies its validation model;finally,according to the results of empirical analysis,this thesis demonstrates the conclusion and points out the description of the disadvantages of the present model.
