Research And Implementation On User Experience Assessment System Of Streaming Video Services In Mobile Networks Based On User Feedback

As the rapid development of the mobile networks and intelligent mobile phones, streaming video services increasingly affects people’s daily life. Thus, it is essential to assess the quality of user experience of the streaming video services accurately in order to help the network operators and service providers to increase the quality of services. Generally, two main methods are used to assess the quality of user experience, which are the subjective assessment method and objective one. The subjective assessment method is more accurate than the objective one, but the procedure of it is too complex and time-consuming. On the contrary, the objective assessment method is more and more popular because of the effectiveness and operability. At the same time, it is possible to conduct an objective assessment multiple times so that a large number of streaming videos can be assessed simultaneously. Consequently, people prefer to the objective assessment methods in the system. However, the current systems could not satisfy the requirement of assessing the personalized quality of user experience dynamicly. So, a quality of user experience assessment system, which can assess the quality of services accurately and timely, is needed to be designed and implemented.This paper analysises several popular objective assessment methods, and compare the practival applicability of them. Quality indexes are chosen according to the QoE management system and extracting procedure given by the standard organizations. Theses quality indexs includes two main factors, which are the technical ones and non-technical ones so that the quality of experience can be assessed comprehensively and accurately. Then, the requirements of the streaming video services are ayalysed in order to get the feedback requirements. At last, the procedure of the proposed assessment system based on the user feedback is designed. Then,the detailed design of each module will be presented, including the design of class diagrams and database.At last, the main functions of the system are shown, and the entire work is concluded. It can be proved that this user experience assessment system of streaming video services based on user feedback is pratical.
