As the growth of the demand for more business communication system,the unified switching technology of the different types and different sizes of business has become one of the key technologies of communication network research.It is limited of communication system by the capacity of switching matrix when switching the business by switching matrix,in order to achieve the switching and processing of large capacity of business,it is necessary to use the technology of interconnecting multiple of switching matrix,that is cluster technology;In addition,the unified reference clock of unified switching of the different business is necessary to implement segmenting and packaging of business;The reference clock synchronization is required to ensure the business can be correctly handle in the sender and the receiver.Today the IEEE1588 protocol based on clock synchronization technology is be widely used to realize the synchronization precision of nanosecond level,which is cheaper and more secure compared with the traditional way of GPS timing and synchronization,which is more likely to achieve the entire network time synchronization on principle at the same time.Due to it is necessary of a network element node to use reference clock as a timestamp on time synchronization,the precision of the reference clock between network elements is the key factors of influencing the time synchronization performance;At the same time,because of the instability and non real-time in synchronous message transmission channel,it will be affected of the accuracy of the synchronous message information by the error information,time synchronization performance will also be limited.In this study,the method based on the hardware interface E1 is used to transmit the frequency and phase information of the timestamp,to achieve switching of frame information between network elements by 1588 synchronization principle,thus to gain high precision hardware timestamp by eliminating the phase difference of the timestamps between two nets source;To stabilize the message channel,at the same time,the local time information maintenance module which is not be affected is adopted in the scheme of time synchronization of existing cluster system.Finally the simulation results show that it is goodness for adopting hardware interface E1 to achieve phase synchronization of timestamps,the timestamps of phase will be greatly improved and the corresponding time synchronization performance is better than the original;At the same time,the actual measurement also indicates that the time synchronization scheme of the cluster system can improve the synchronization stability,and the synchronization precision can meet the requirements of time synchronization of communication network.
