With the integration of technology and economic,it is an important trend to establish a tight industry-university-research collaboration.The collaboration among universities,research institutes,business and other subjects is not only a simple integration of resources,but also a system with the aim of providing the impetus for technological innovation.Most of existing industry-university-research collaboration support systems are used for special purposes,such as communication issues,technical design of special commission for enterprises,selfpromotion of universities and so on.In these existing systems,trading activities is highly decentralized,and transaction costs are high on both sides.Due to these shortcomings,some potential win-win technological trading activities have not been implemented.The industryuniversity-research collaboration is a world-wide challenging problem.At present,there is no existing model for technique transaction that can be successfully duplicated.The fragment of resources,the imbalance of information and the weak process control and the weak transaction supporting mechanism are the main shortcomings we are facing at.By strengthening the relationship of business,research institutes and universities,resources can be fully utilized.To facilitate the industry-university-research collaboration,this thesis is devoted to design and develop an industry,university and research collaboration support platform.The aim of constructing this platform is to promote information delivery among enterprises,scientific research institutions and universities.It also helps to establish relationships between enterprises with technological requirements and scientific research institutions and universities with outstanding technological and scientific achievements.Based on the analysis on the requirements of the industry,university and research collaboration support platform,we have investigated the the 3-tier architecture and relational database techniques at first in this work.Using XML parsing and Ajax techniques,an industry,university and research collaboration support platform based on B/S structure is designed and implemented.The thesis is organized as follows.Firstly,a survey has been conducted on the development of the existing collaborations modes among industries,universities,research institutes.A discussion on the development and shortcomings of the supporting platforms has also been made.Secondly,by using the case and logic views,the requirements of the industry,university and research collaboration support platform have been analyzed.Finally,theabove-mentioned platform has been designed and implemented.In the implementation of the information-releasing module,an extensible makeup language is employed to describe information.Experimental results have shown the effectiveness and feasibility of the developed platform,it meets the user requirements and runs stably.The design and implementation of the industry,university and research Collaboration support platform is a systematic project involving multiple theories,methods and techniques.The developed platform is the V1.0,it manly focus on the data collection and publication,works are still left to be done in data analysis and mining.Further researching and developing works could be done in the following aspects.Firstly,enhance the dynamic management of the industry-university-research collaboration and standardize the process of the research work transaction.Secondly,develop the function model of the data mining and accurate information recombination.Finally,add the topic based search model into the platform to perform search on the resources and services in the system.
