With the continuous development of millimeter-wave radar technology,the application of millimeter-wave radar has become more and more widely used.In the military field,mainly for short-range tracking and guidance;in the civil field,mainly including security alert,intelligent traffic,automatic obstacle avoidance for UAVs,human-computer interaction and so on.Aiming at the characteristics of universal millimeter-wave radar,this paper intends to do some research and exploration in millimeter-wave IF signal conditioning and digital signal processing.This paper designs a universal millimeter-wave radar signal processor for detecting short-range targets.The whole system consists of two parts: hardware and software.The hardware part includes analog signal conditioning board and digital signal processing board.The analog signal conditioning board is mainly used for pretreatment and digital sampling of the IF signal produced by millimeter wave radar sensors,the digital signal processing board includes the configuration circuit with DSP as the core and many peripheral circuits.The software part is an application developed based on TI's SYS/BIOS(real time operating system kernel),it includes two parts: SYS/BIOS and driver design,application development;the former provides the latter with a multi-threaded development environment and driver support,the latter is responsible for the millimeter-wave radar signal acquisition and processing.Millimeter wave radar IF signal first completes the pretreatment and A/D conversion of analog signal conditioning board,and then go into the DSP chip of the digital signal processing board.Finally,through the software programming of DSP chip,the acquisition and processing of the IF signal are realized.This paper has completed the design and debugging of the whole system,including the signal conditioning circuit,signal processing circuit,software and drive design,algorithm implementation and other parts of the work.According to the actual test results,the analog signal conditioning board,digital signal processing board,driver and software part designed in this paper can work normally.Finally,this paper analyzes the result of the intermediate frequency signal produced by the signal conditioning circuit,which provides a reference for the improvement of the hardware circuit and software algorithm in the next stage. |
