Millimeter wave radiator is a common short-range millimeter wave detector.It is always used as a receiver with high sensitivity to detect the weak millimeter wave signal,especially the detection and recognition of metal targets,which is prevalent in the field of efficient smart ammunition,passive imaging system and traffic control.It is important to test and calibrate the performance of a millimeter wave radiator.Recently,it is popular to conduct the high-tower experiment or airborne experiment,which takes complex experimental facilities and massive experimental funding.Therefore,it is meaningful to design a convenient testing system for millimeter wave radiator.In this article,the basic component and working principle of the performance testing system of millimeter wave radiator have been introduced in detail.According to the character of the millimeter wave radiator signal,a modified AdaBoost algorithm has been analysed by setting a threshold to change the weight of each sample.This algorithm can get a relatively high identification probability.The signal processing module in the whole system has been introduced,including hardware and software design.Hardware design contains the working principle of the whole module,DSP chip,A/D and D/A convertor,power source,reset circuit,JTAG circuit and SCI serial port circuit.Then the software design has been implemented,including transmitting module and receiving module.The whole frame of the wireless transmission module has been introducesd,including the selection of Wi-Fi chip and the working principle.The software and hardware design of the module have been built,including the design of peripheral circuit of Wi-Fi chip.Then,using Lab VIEW to design a wireless data collection system has been designed,including front panel and diagram program.At the end of the article,the function of the testing system has been illustrated.The experiment results show that the object identification algorithm can identify and classify targets accurately;the SD card can store data;oscilloscope can record the data in real time and Lab VIEW interface can monitor and playback experimental data.
