The technique of MMV short-range and compound detector can greatly improve theperformance of target identification and angle orientation by combining MMW radiometerwith radar, so that it can fully makes use of the dispersion characteristic and the radiationcharacteristic of target.The paper has studied the characteristic of the detector, comparing actual gatheringwaveform with simulation waveform, basic arithmetic of target identification is broughtforward. Several signal pre-treatment methods are discussed and the effect of oversampling is analyzed with emphasis.The hard platform with the core chip of TMS320VC5410 DSP is designed, it is veryconcision but high-efficiency, benefited from the high-speed processing ability; abundanceon-chip resource and flexible peripherally interface of c5410, including: A/D dataacquisition module, Storage extension module,the electrical source module and so on.Application software of the system is designed, including: AD sampling, distancemeasurement, signal preprocessing and filtering, target recognition algorithm, signalprocess modules for target distance measure and target identification are successfullyachieved with DSP processor. At last, debug the system, solve the problem which is met inthe debugging and summarize the debugging experience.
