The detecting of low-rate or immobile object of armored car in the condition of strong noise wave from the ground is always a technically difficult problem for the radars of millimeter waves. A main way to solve the problem is to take advantage of the radar of broad band system, which leads to higher resolving power of distance and reduce the noise wave improving the rate between the scope of signal and noise wave.At first, we introduce the theory of the frequency stepped radar of millimeter waves, and discuss the principle of the design of the parameter of the shape of the wave. Then we design the wave of radar which is applied to the appropriate background.Secondly, in the condition of no noise and noise wave, we analyze the process of one dimension distance-imaging of the frequency stepped radar between pulses, the compensating of speed and the making up of one dimension distance-imaging.Then, we discuss the focusing scattering model of object, and get the one dimension distance-image due to the tank’s focusing scattering model. We research the ways of detecting of the objects on the ground which is based on the one dimension distance-imaging and validate the validity of the way to one dimension distance-image which is from the model of tank considering the noise wave.At last, we discuss the project of searching and destroying for objects on the ground which take advantage both the PD radar system and the frequency stepped radar system. We designed the shape of the wave along the process of the following and destroying, and get a complete scheme which is multiplex.
