With the development of cloud computing,more and more cloud platforms are managed by defining policies.Private cloud users have paid more and more attention to private cloud policy management because of the high security requirements of private cloud.But the current policy for private clouds is mainly made by private cloud administrators or experts who know the details of the private cloud's underlying services.General users must be in-depth cognition to the underlying service details to define a complete private cloud policy,that is,the general user can not shield the details of the underlying services,and is hard to define the private cloud policy independently.In order to solve this problem,this paper,based on OpenStack,s the main services and resources in the private cloud into private cloud data model,which is easy to learn and understand,and proposes a method based on data model definition of private cloud policy.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)according to the specific examples of private cloud policy,we can get the shortcomings of the user's difficult definition of private cloud policy.By studying the core services of private cloud and the basic needs of private cloud users,it s the computing,storage and other resources commonly used by private cloud users into six private cloud resource data models.By studying the resource authentication requirements of private cloud users,the private cloud tenants,users,roles,and their associated resources are ed into two private cloud authentication data models.At the same time,two kinds of correlation methods of private cloud data model are studied,which are resource association and authentication association.(2)Allow the private cloud user defined data model,so that users in different fields can define private cloud policy according to their own special needs,without being restricted by the existing data models of private cloud.(3)Aiming at the way of defining private cloud based on data model,we design the visual interface,which makes it easier for users to define the private cloud policy,and improves the usability and user experience of the system.(4)design and implement the private cloud policy generation system,and apply the method of definition policy based on the private cloud data model to the actual scenario,which provides a more convenient way for users to define the private cloud policy.According to the test results,we can use the data model based private cloud policy definition method to define the more complex private cloud strategy under the collaboration of visual interfaces,which can reflect the benefits of shielding the underlying data sources for users.At the same time,compared with the definition of private cloud policy based on the private cloud underlying data table,the proposed method saves users' time and meets the needs of users.
