Research And Implementation Of Cloud Policy Generating System Based On OpenStack

Cloud computing policie provide users with a unified and standardized way to complete cloud computing resource scheduling, cloud computing resource monitoring, cloud computing security, cloud computing management operations. Cloud computing policies is usually mastered by the top executives, cloud computing system administrator, cloud computing experts who know the details of the cloud platform system service, ordinary users can not complete cloud policies definition without these high-level roles' help. So modern cloud computing services and resource management based on the policy is lack of agility.This paper focuses on how cloud computing policy can be easily defined by the ordinary users, and summarizes that the biggest difficulty of user-defined cloud computing policy is users lack of knowledge about the underlying service details of the cloud system. In order to solve this problem, this paper abstracts the main services and resources of the infrastructure-as-a-service cloud platform into the data models which are easy to be understood and described by the OpenStack platform and proposes a policy definition method based on the data model.In order to complete the research of the subject, this paper first studies the related technologies of cloud computing and policy definition. Among the technologies, OpenStack is the most popular open source cloud computing platform. This paper introduces the overall structure of OpenStack and core services in OpenStack, and provides the basis for the follow-up research.Then, this paper analyzes the shortcomings of OpenStack's policy service which is difficult to be used by users in practical application, and puts forward the concept of OpenStack data model for this problem. This paper studies OpenStack's core services, and defines the resources such as computing, network and storage as five basic OpenStack data models. It also studies three types of data association: resource association,authentication association and security group association. In this paper,the OpenStack data model is applied to the policy service, and combined with the test cases, it shows that the policy definition based on the OpenStack data model has the advantage of being easier to be understood and defined.Finally, this paper designs and implements the OpenStack policy generation system, and applies the policy definition method based on the OpenStack data model to the actual scene, which provides a more convenient way for users to define the cloud computing policy.
