The Research About Industrial Design Website Evaluation System Based On Eye-Tracking Experiment

In the process of website design,a large number of design about making selections and evaluations are required.The current industrial design services could not form a comprehensive,objective and systematic evaluation system,since it based on subjectively evaluations,which are mainly consists of the subjective experience,questionnaire survey,and expert scoring.Therefore,a more intuitive and accurate evaluation,providing the basis for making decisions and guiding to make a more popular interface,is becoming the trend in the area of design evaluation.The paper takes varieties of industrial design service website as research objects.The eye-tracking analysis method is introduced to evaluate the industrial design web interface design.Using the website navigation,advertising area,content area and the footer area of the eye movement data as the research contents.Using the method of combining the subjective and objective data,basing on the subjects of the eye movement data and subjective score analysis correlation analysis and regression analysis,exploring the effective evaluation index of eye movement in the website of industrial design in the service interface.So the eye-tracking index could improve the content of website service evaluation system in industrial design.According to the website interface structure theory and analysis of users' demand,the industrial design evaluation system are divided into five first-level indexes which are website navigation,website advertising,website content,website footer and interactive web and two level index number.Then,these five first-level coule be further divided into several second-level indexes.After the establishment of the frame of these two kinds of indexes,the eye-tracking experiments are carried out.After analyzing the subjective preference and the objective eye tracking data,the paper finds that there is a significant positive correlation between the total fixation duration,total fixation times and preference.The regression equation of the total fixation duration,the total fixation times and the preference degree of each region of the website are highly fitting,and there is a linear relationship by F test.So,during the process of evaluating the industrial design service website interface,with the increase of uesr's subjective preference level,the total fixation duration and total fixation times in each region will also change.The total fixation duration and total fixation times can be used to judge the subjects of effective eye tracking indexes of four regional site preferences.The first fixation time,the first fixation duration,and the average fixation duration could not be used as the effective eye tracking index to judge the four regions of the website.It is feasible to apply eye tracking analysis to the evaluation system of industrial design website.The evaluation system of industrial design service website based on subjective analysis and eye tracking analysis is more comprehensive,systematic and objective.
