| With the continuously fast progress of urbanization in China and the impact of new technologies and modes of transportation,the interaction flow of the urban population,materials and information is becoming more and more frequent,the living way of residents changes rapidly,cities become more efficient and diversified,and the urban structure is more complicated.At the same time,in the rapid expansion of urban space,with the rapid expansion of urban space and the fast growth of urban economy,there are many 'urban diseases',such as urban traffic congestion,huge scale of block space,lack of public space,reduction of place cognition,etc.These urban problems led to problems of decline in urban space quality and urban vitality digestion.How to realize 'people-oriented' concept and objective by solving problems of urban space,enhancing the quality of space,reshaping dynamic city,is an important issue to achieve healthy and sustainable development of the citites.At present,the arrival of the 'big data' era provides new means to analyze,to reveal,and to solve the urban incurable diseases,by using the new information technology and massive data.In this context,this paper takes the urban spatial vitality as the research object and chooses the central city of Shanghai as a case,and studies the characteristics and internal mechanism of urban space vitality from two aspects:theoretical research and empirical analysis.In the theoretical research,this paper first consults and summarizes the basic theory of urban space vitality,clarifies the definition and constituent elements of urban space vitality,and determines the dual connotation of the external representation and internal mechanism of urban space vitality.In the empirical study,this paper uses the urban spatial data and mobile phone signaling data to establish the basic database of quantitative study of urban space vitality.Based on the evaluation index of urban spatial vitality intensity and the index system of urban spatial vitality impact assessment,the urban spatial vitality of Shanghai urban area is quantitatively evaluated,and the basic characteristics of urban spatial vitality in Shanghai central city are analyzed.The correlation between urban spatial dynamic intensity and spatial influence factor was quantitatively studied by correlation analysis and factor clustering analysis method,and the internal mechanism of urban spatial dynamism was explored from the general level.Finally,this paper classified the urban spatial vitality from the perspective of spatial dynamics of spatial dynamics,and discussed the characteristics,internal mechanisms and spatial characteristics of the five main urban spatial dynaIlmic types,and selected eight typical cases in the central urban area of Shanghai to the further analyze.The main conclusions are as follows:-The people activities are the main body of space vitality and the external representation of the urban spatial vitality.Space as the material carrier of human and its activities is the internal mechanism that influences the vitality of urban space.-The influence of spatial characteristics on urban spatial vitality is mainly due to its location,function,traffic,scale,fonm and landscape.Among them,the spatial scale and the accessibility of traffic,which are sensitive to enhance urban spatial vitality,are the primary spatial characteristic index to affects the intensity of urban space vitality.Besides,centrality location,functional diversity and morphology compactness,which show a slow promoting effect on the vitality intensity of urban space,are important spatial characteristic indexes.-There is a dynamic fluctuation process of the urban space vitality in Shanghai.The still condition of vitality-the agglomeration of vitality-the vibrant vitality-the weakening of vitality-the dissipation of vitality.The urban spatial vitality of the central urban area in Shanghai has a space dynamic hot spot gathered in the center of the city,the spatial vigor of the cold spots scattered in the periphery.-In general,the urban spatial vitality of the central urban area of Shanghai shows the spatial distribution pattern of "four circles,one cluster,twelve radiations,multi-hole and nine wedge".-Finally,this paper presents 15 kinds of basic prototypes of urban spatial vitality,and sums up five main types of spatial vitality in the central urban area of Shanghai.The differentiation and commonality of the basic characteristics of spatial activity,the spatial characteristic pattern and the spatial intrinsic mechanism among five types are resolved.Specifically,the full text is structured as follows:-The first chapter is the introduction.The research background and significance of this paper are expounded,the research object,research goal and research method are introduced,and the research frame and technical route of this paper are combed in this chapter.-The second chapter is the theoretical research part of urban space vitality.This paper analyzes the concept and basic theory of urban spatial vitality,and puts forward the theoretical framework of urban spatial vitality based on the summary of the existing research results.The definition and connotation of urban spatial vitality are defined,and this paper puts forward the basic conclusion that the the external representation of urban spatial vitality is crowd activity and the spatial characteristic as the internal mechanism.-In the third chapter,the data sources and data processing methods of quantitative research are introduced in detail.Based on the theoretical research results,the influence factors of urban spatial vitality are screened,and the evaluation indexes of urban spatial vigor intensity are determined,which is the basis of quantitative research.-The fourth,fifth and sixth chapters are core empirical parts of this paper.Among them,the fourth chapter mainly evaluates the spatial vitality of the central urban area of Shanghai and analyzes the temporal fluctuation characteristics and spatial distribution characteristics of the spatial vitality.The fifth chapter analyzes the internal mechanism of urban spatial vitality from the overall level through correlation analysis and factor clustering analysis.In the sixth chapter,the paper studies the classification of urban spatial vitality,and discusses the dynamic characteristics,influencing factors,internal mechanism and spatial pattern of the five types of urban spatial vitality,and selects eight typical cases in the central city of Shanghai to verify analysis.-Finally,the seventh chapter summarizes the main conclusions,innovations and shortcomings of this paper.In general,this paper attempts to use the mobile phone signaling big data to explore the urban space vitality from the perspective of people and space.In this paper,the quantitative evaluation method of urban spatial vitality was established,the spatial features of urban spatial vitality wore excavated and the internal mechanism was quantitatively analyzed.In consequence,the results of the study have a positive effectonthe reshaping of urban spatial
