Research And Application Of LTE Network Coverage Optimization

With the growing demand for wireless services,in order to cope with and ease the mobile network continuesly highlighted contradiction between supply and demand,the Third Generation Partnership Project(3GPP)Long Term Evolution(LTE)gradually evolve from theory to reality.The openness and flexibility of LTE bring great challenge to the optimization design of overlay network.pleasing wireless network coverage is the prerequisite to guarantee the quality and index of mobile communication network.In this paper,the related technologies of network planning are studied and the related technologies of capacity evaluation are optimized.A network planning and optimizing system is designed and implemented to improve the service carrying capacity of LTE network,improve the system resource utilization and reduce the network construction.And operating costs.Based on the analysis of the throughput and capacity requirements of the network coverage area,this paper designs a set of LTE network planning enhancement technology system to effectively improve the coverage efficiency of LTE network,by reducing the investment cost reasonably,it can solve the problem of low expansion effect and resource waste.By optimizing the parameters of wireless link budget,three sets of optimization methods are designed to calculate the number of wireless access stations and evaluate the capacity of the network based on capacity planning resource requirements to verify the planning and design of the expansion area.The feasibility of the theoretical resource plan,based on the wireless link budget parameter optimization design and design of network planning optimization software has improved the work efficiency and program applications.LTE network coverage optimization related research results have been successfully applied in Hunan Mobile's network optimization project,and achieved remarkable application effect.The network optimization software developed based on the optimized scheme and has become an essential part in the operation and maintenance activities of mobile operators'networks and it has become network maintenance and optimization tools.
