The progress of science and technology drives the development of the whole society.With the outbreak of new technologies,transformation and upgrading have become the only magic weapon for all walks of life to adapt to the trend of the times.With the promotion of Internet technology,various new media emerge in endlessly,especially the emergence of virtual/augmented reality technology,which has reformed the concept of media communication,changed the way of information communication,and brought the information communication into the era of scene communication,with more diversified choices of users and increasingly fierce media competition.In this context,the publishing industry must break through the bottleneck of development,and with the support of new information technology,use new media platforms to spread new information scene communication modes.The main content of this paper is divided into five parts: the first part is about the conceptual interpretation.It defines related concepts,mainly including virtual/ augmented reality technology,publications,scene-based communication,and explains the communication theory involved in this research.The second part is to analyze the general situation of the development of virtual/augmented reality technology and prensents its application in publishing field.It analyzes the correlation and natural fit between the characteristics of virtual/augmented reality technology and publishing attributes.The third part analyzes the advantages of using virtual/augmented reality technology to carry out scene-based communication in publishing institutions.The fourth part analyzes the bottleneck of applying virtual/augmented reality technology to carry out the scene-based dissemination of publications in the publishing industry.The fifth part puts forward related solutions,and provides suggestions for better playing the role of virtual/augmented reality technology in the scene-based communication.It also provides some valuable reference for further research of communication.The innovation of this paper is embodied in two aspects.First,it is innovative from the perspective of scene-based communication,and integrates emerging science and technology.With emerging concepts,it analyzes the application of virtual/augmented reality technology inpublishing industry,explores its advantages and disadvantages in scene-based communication,and further puts forward relevant suggestions for optimizing its communication methods.Second,the main viewpoints are innovative,and the previous viewpoints are supplemented and enriched on the application of virtual/augmented reality technology in the publishing field,and some new viewpoints are put forward on the application of virtual/augmented reality technology in the publishing industry to carry out scene-based communication.
