With the rapid development of the Internet,new networking applications and services are constantly emerging.To meet the different demands,the structure of networking has been too complicated.Because of it,innovative technologies are difficult to deploy and apply in the traditional network.To solve this problem,SDN architecture is proposed.The SDN architecture has three advantages.They are decoupling the data plane and control plane,centralized management and programmable API.Nowadays,SDN architecture has been a hot point in the networking academic world.The End-to-End QoS control is a hard problem.In the SDN networking,the centralized management make it easy to monitor the whole networking status,and with the decoupling of the data plane and control plane,the complicated End-to-End QoS control logic which in the traditional network devices could be moved to the SDN controller.In this way,the network device could pay attention to the data forwarding and will not waste the resource in the control logic.Moreover,moving the control logic to the control plane,make it possible to deploy more complicated algorithm in the networking.The background of this paper is SDN networking,and OpenFlow protocol is chosen to handle the communicating between the SDN controller and switch.In the research of this paper,the Ryu controller is chosen.Firstly,this thesis introduce the detail of the SDN architecture and the current research status of QoS.Then an End-to-End QoS control mechanism is proposed premised on the SDN networking.After it,a per-flow based End-to-End QoS control system is implemented with the help of Ryu controller.At last of this thesis,the system is tested in the simulation environment based on mininet to validate the effectiveness and correctness of the End-to-End QoS control mechanism proposed in this thesis.The main points of the End-to-End QoS control mechanism in this thesis are as follows.(1)With the help of OpenFlow,collect the status of networking and monitor the service of flows.Based on it,the QoS control system will take advantage of the SDN architecture to make correct decision.(2)Design and implement a QoS routing based on genetic algorithm.Because the genetic algorithm can find a feasible solution very quickly,when switching the routing path,the QoS routing algorithm designed in this thesis will have a faster convergence speed at the expense of the quality of the solution.(3)Based on the priority mechanism of OpenFlow flow table,a re-routing algorithm is designed.And then a scheme is implemented to handle the old flow entry in the old path.
