The traditional network model of IP network and optical network has resulted in construction and operating costs,and what's worse is that explosion growing of bandwidth data services makes them increasing dramatically.Integration of heterogeneous networks composed by the multi-layered network based on software-defined networking of unified control is the key to solve these above problems.This paper is research on software-defined networking,multilayer optical networking and routing mechanism,and will show the experimental results of them respectively.The multilayer in the title has three meanings here:1.The heterogeneous network consisted of IP network and optical network which has the multi data layers;2.The hierarchical multi controlling layers based on software-defined networking;3.The virtual subnet routing mechanism strategies according to multi virtual tiered layers distributed from the physical layer.On the above three points,the main work and innovations of this paper are as follows:1.Proposed a new heterogeneous network architecture based on software-defined networking which consists of IP network and optical network to solve current networking problem,i.e.expensive OPEX and CPEX,brought by the separation of these two networks.And we have built a large-scale experimental network to test the performance of controller which plays an important role in our new architecture.2.Proposed another heterogeneous network architecture for the multi controllers in a hierarchical relation to cover the situation where single-controller cannot burden the increasing data center network size and cannot handle the request from the explosion users request.We have built an experimental prototype form this architecture,and have finished the extension protocol process between controllers.3.Proposed an optimization routing strategy based on network virtualization link resources for the software-defined network of multi data domains and multi controlling layers.And we have simulated three derivative algorithms of the strategy,and compared these performances.
