A Coal Mine Business Design And Implementation Of FMIS System Based On Oracle ERP

In recent years,China's power enterprises have expanded into closely related industries like coal,coal chemical industry,logistics,finance and other non-electric coal industry.Power enterprise industry is capital and asset intensive.And electricity can't be stored.All these calls for real-time cash monitoring,budgeting and repayment.To enable central supervision and digitalizing financial management,there is strong need for a set of appropriate financial software for keeping account jorunal and auditing.Financial Management Information System(hereinafter referred to as FMIS)is a modern information management system that highly integrates the information and management in financial systems.Based on Oracle ERP,through the design and implementation of FMIS system,it unifies companies' information flow and material flow to enhance operational efficiency,improve execution and reduce cost.This paper talks about the case study of deploying FMIS to a coal power plant company.Focusing on the current situation of the ERP implementation of the coal power industry and the business demand of the power generation enterprise,this paper summaries the experiences from implementation,to operation and maintenance.This paper talks about the key points in the implementation process and achieved the integration between the financial management and resource management.The main modules of FMIS system include the general ledger module,asset module,payable module,receivable module and cash budget module.Using the FMIS system,the coal power plant company standardized the financial accounting and monitoring process.It simplified the calculation process which processes huge amount of financial data.It promoted the overall revenue and management efficiency of this company.At the end of this article.I provide a concise summary of this project in the coal power plant company.I also write an outlook on the development of financial management information systems for mainland coal mine industry.I hope this will be helpful to information development in coal mine industry.
