With the rapid development of industrial technology and market economy,in our country,the total production of consumable gradually increased every year,which made the material demand of people greatly satisfy and consumption concept change dramatically.In modern life,people are not satisfied with the functional requirements of the commodity itself;however,they are seeking the convenience and comfort of the experiencing consumption.As an important part of the public consumption,in recent years,the food and beverage industry has been affected by the people's consumption habits.The food and beverage industry pays more attention on how to improve people's experiencing dining.However,due to the huge customers,service concentration and other objective,the canteens of the schools and companies have caused of the following problems:a)dining crowded disorder and waiting for a long time;b)a fastigium of dining,a lot of people come to canteen at dining time,resulting in service pressure increases abruptly;c)lots of service windows,leading to human resource cost too high;d,noisy cafeteria,made people and servant lack effective communication when they placed their order for a meal.Therefore,facing with the terrible cafeterias of the schools and companies,to solve the above problems is very urgent.This design was based on a multi-platform network integration ordering system,by integrating a wide range of Diversified user self-ordering terminals,counter machine credit card payment systems,server business processing systems,bar code printing and recognition system,the degree of congestion feedback system and autonomous calling system,can significantly reduce the amount of labor,reduce operating costs and enhance efficiency.This system is based on the design concept of that IOT(Internet of Things)make life easier in the current relatively popular,by integrating Android,Web and QT/Embedded in Linux and other key technologies,using HTTP network protocol enables mobile phone terminals,automatic teller machines,online sites and servers these four different platforms communicate with each other,so the IOT was used successfully to catering trade the closely related with public life field.Furthermore,in this paper,STC89C52RC MCU as the master processor,serial communication with bar code scanning gun through Max232 chip,and using small EAN-8 bar code ticket,ISD1700 series voice chips,micro-printer,LCD screen design and development of a sets autonomous calling system,combined with RFID card reader to complete the chargeback,and restaurant unmanned operation is achieved by means of this series of technology to improve the traditional canteen operating mode,so that eating becomes more comfortable and convenient.At present,this system has completed the initial prototype development and environment tests also show that the system has reached the expected design function.The standardization and intelligent of canteen have been realized,this enhanced the user experience.But there may still be a lot of problems to be improved and perfected in future business applications.
