Stages And The Cause Of New Media Research

Based on the analysis of a large number of new media research,this paper combines the characteristics of new media and the classification standards of Journalism and Communication,and sets out the selection principal of new media research samples.On this basis,statistical analysis the research of Journalism and Communication for 23 years,while examining the existence of its stage.Comparing to other research,this paper focus on the research's topics,research's objects,research's methods and research;s institutions of the new media research published in the Journalism and Communication are the main analytical dimensions.Contrapose the new media research published in Journalism and Communication for these 23 years,the following aspects are the main points: 1,what changes of new media happened in the past 23 years;2,what kind of stage these changes exist;3,what kind of characteristics exist in each stage;4,what are the reasons for the stages.After the analysis,it is found that the development of new media research has three stages,and there is a tendency of it show a "recursive state" in a vertical perspective.One of the stages is the study of the relevant elements of the new media research in a certain period of time."All elements" include the concept of new media,new forms of innovation and characteristics of new media and the impact of new media on the social environment and several other aspects.In view of the respect of the object and the requirement of the accuracy of the research,this paper makes a supplementary explanation of the special problems and keywords in the study,and finds out the omissions in the research of the new media,then briefly introduces the problems that new media research should noticed.
