Comparative Study Between China's And Thailand's Digital Television Development Path

The main purpose of this thesis is to find out the similarities and differences between China's and Thailand's digital TV development path.Due to the differences of government system is necessary to analyze the digital TV development path of two countries,grasp the obstacles and problems and establish digital TV development in future to achieve more perfect strategy.This thesis contains four parts.The first part focuses on the current situation of digital TV development in China and Thailand.It will be analyzed through two systems which are the goal of digital television development and development system.The second part is about the government's policy on the development of digital television.According to the differences between China's system and Thailand's system,the digital TV industry in China has been managed,supported,intervened and controlled by the government.In contrast,Thai government established National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission(NBTC)as the main organization that develops digital TV industry in Thailand as well as achieve the development goal.In the third part,it illustrates the problems of digital TV development in two countries.Also,it shows the incentive reason why the conversion cannot be completed slow down digital TV.The last part is to consider the whole picture of the thesis.It compares the similarities and the differences between Thai and Chinese government system to research the development of Digital TV in these two countries.Moreover,it analyses the dilemma as well as finding out the resolution and providing the strategy to develop the system in the future.As a result,the developed system can be completely transferred to the other one.Finally,the researcher strongly believes that the obvious understanding about Thai and Chinese digital TV will help to support the efficiency of the development in both Thailand and China.Also,it will help the particular countries change the current TV system to be digital TV system successfully.
