A Study On The Public Participation In Library Crowdfunding

The funding of library has restricted its development,building and maintenance has not guaranteed especially in poor rural areas of the Midwest.So,sources of funding problems in library has been the focus of concern to the field of library.With the advance of "Internet+" action plan,born in Internet background to crowdfunding for small and medium enterprises financing and development to provide the necessary support at home and abroad.Library field has also begun to explore the applicability of library crowdfunding.Currently,there are a number of library crowdfunding projects successfully,the theoretical research is focused on the applicability of the library crowdfunding,analysis of the characteristics nd the risk prevention of library crowdfunding,participants involved in the study less.Participants are the key factors for the success of the library crowdfunding project,and the willingness to participate is the premise of the participation behavior.When it comes to whether the library crowdfunding can become a new financing channel,so it is necessary to understand the public's attitude towards it,what are the reasons that affect to public participation or not.So,on the basis of domestic and foreign literature,this paper puts forward the research question of public participation in the library crowdfunding.Through the analysis of many library crowdfunding project to understand the characteristics of the existing library crowdfunding project settings;select a representative of the public library crowdfunding project as an interview material,collect the influence factors by interviewing method.On this basis,organization the influencing factors and questionnaire survey,use statistical analysis and structural equation modeling for data analysis,structure the influence factors model of public participation in the construction of library crowdfunding.The main results of this study are as follows:(1)Summed up the characteristics of the library crowdfunding projects.include the total amount of the project,the number of projects and the project sponsor,project returns and so on.Research find that the library crowdfunding more targeted to the rescue,it's located less developed areas,individual and collective as the main sponsors.The amount of the project preset between 3000-5000,the project to attract participants in pictures,videos and interactive,return rich and varied content breaking the traditional way to thank the letter of thanks.(2)Describes the library crowdfunding participation in the demographic factors.By means of gender,age,educational background and other factors.Research find there was no significant difference in gender,age,education level,occupation and willingness to participate,except domicile location and income.(3)Extract the factors that influence the willingness of the public to participate in the library crowdfunding.It includes 6 factors: motivation,quality value,perceived risk,platform factor,trust and reference group,preparation of questionnaires for pre research and formal research.Research find that participation motivation,project quality value,trust and reference group positively influence the willingness to participate,perceived risk negatively affects willingness to participate,and mediating effect of reference groups and trust.(4)According to the research results,this paper puts forward the countermeasures for the development of library crowdfunding,in order to provide advice and reference for the library to raise the project launch and selection.
