Regular inspection and unit acceptance of microcomputer based relay protection device is an usual work in power system relay protection for maintenance personnel,and calibration of the relay protection device setting value is one of the important work.Because lots of the protection device setting value to be checked,generally it takes the debugging personnel most of the time.Therefore,how to reduce the burden of relay protection debugging personnel,especially in the calibration of the workload,improve work efficiency,it is a meaningful proposition.For the test instrument function is not perfect and the field manual calculation efficiency in the relay protection setting value checking work,a supporting software for relay protection debugging based on Java 2 Micro Edition(J2ME)is developmented.The program calculates composite voltage,theoretical boundary points of operating characteristic curve,and ratio of transformer differential protection which can run on mobile phones.It's suitable for protecting device composite voltage block and ratio differential protection setting value field checking.The practical application in Jieyang Power Supply Bureau of Guangdong Power Grid shows that the software test results correctly,use convenient,and can improve work efficiency.This paper introduces in detail the design and application of the software,can provide reference for technical personnel who wants to develop applied to engineering calculation software of intelligent mobile phone.
