UHF radio frequency identification(RFID)technology has been widely used in the IOT.As an important part of RFID systems,the development of RFID tag is limited by two problems: it can not adapt to a variety of environments and high costs.Therefore,the study of anti-dielectric and low cost tag is important in engineering significance.In this paper,anti-dielectric tag is mainly studied.Firstly tag performance on dielectric is studied,and then three RFID inlay tags were designed through tags-material integrated design method.In this paper,the research content includes:(1)Firstly,tag performance on material is studied by theoretical analysis,simulation and test.The influence of permittivity,loss tangent and size to the S11,impedance,gain and antenna pattern is discussed,valuable results were got.It is shown that when the permittivity is greater than 3,tag performance worse or even can't work.Based on this,tags-material integrated design method is put forward.(2)Secondly,a tag for glass is designed.It can also works on dielectric material surface which permittivity is between 3 to 10.The problem of tag performance bad on these materials is solved.Tag antenna is well matched with chip,and it's-10 dB impedance bandwidth is 438.8MHz,gain total is 2.46 dBi,the maximum reading range is 2.04 m.(3)Thirdly,a tag for water is designed.As for a special dielectric,water's permittivity is 81,so tag should be designed alone.Through tag-water integrated design,the tag antenna matches well with chip,and it's-10 dB impedance bandwidth is 226.8MHz,gain total is 3.77 dBi,the maximum reading range is 0.82 m.(4)At last,an Inlay anti-metal RFID tag is designed.The tag antenna is matched well with chip,and it's S11=-22.03 dB,-10 dB impedance bandwidth is 750 MHz,gain total is 5.45 dBi,the maximum reading range is 0.65 m.Furthermore,the cost of anti-metal RFID tag is greatly reduced.In general,through these three tags,the problem of the adaptability of RFID tags in different application scenarios is basically solved.
