Radio frequency identification(RFID)technology has a wide range of applications in practical engineering,such as cargo identification,animal tracking and contactless charging.In recent years,with the rise of the Internet of things market,the research of RFID tag has started again.Because of the huge market demand,low cost chip less RFID tags have been studied more and more.In the application environment of RFID tags,metal objects will seriously affect the performance of tag antennas.Therefore,solving the problem of metal resistance of labels is of great significance.First of all,introduces the basic working principle of radio frequency identification technology and the basic theory of electromagnetic field.The working principles of RPID system and chip less RFID tag are briefly described.Then a small UHF band RPID tag is designed.The anti-metallic properties of the tag antenna are solved by using the loaded artificial magnetic conductor(AMC)floor and load absorbing material technology respectively.The designed AMC structure and microwave absorbing material are applied to the RFID tag.The results show that the designed tag antenna has anti metal properties.Finally,a chip-less RFID tag based on frequency selective surface(FSS)is designed.Oblique incident wave analysis and polarization analysis of the designer label,the label has the advantages of polarization insensitive,stable code.This paper also adopted the idea of cross-polarization coding to study the anti-metal performance of the label.Verify that the design of FSS-based chipless RFID tags can be fully applied to the metal platform,broaden the scope of the label,and provide a new idea for the research of chipless RFID tags.Finally,we designed a chipless RFID tag based on directional backtracking antenna,which is simple and easy to implement.The advantage of the directional backtracking antenna is that it can perform the function of actively tracking the beam without needing a huge digital circuit.The tag has the advantage of directional backdating antennas,which effectively improves the reading range of the tag.A good coding structure is designed in the operating band of the tag antenna.The chipless RFID tag based on the directional backtracking antenna designed in this paper has the advantages of small size,stable performance and low cost.The label can be printed circuit technology for mass production.
