Today,it is very common to use a field programmable gate array(FPGA)in digital systems.Recall the history of FPGA which is initially produced only for glue logic,but today the semiconductor market is formed by the FPGA,ASIC and ASSP.From the 1980 s to today,just 30 years,FPGA develops at lightning pace in the semiconductor industry,the phenomenon can be described as catching up from behind.From glue logic,arithmetic logic,digital signal processing,high-speed serial parallel transceiver to embedded processors,FPGA really changed from supporting role into the protagonist.And in recent years,market statistics show that the applications of FPGA have penetrated into traditional market of ASIC and ASSP.Facts proves that FPGA has been one of the most cutting-edge electronic technology,so it is particularly important for digital system design to master the methods of application and techniques of programmable devices.Firstly,we discuss and study the device configuration,application characteristics and application areas of xilinx FPGA in-depth in this paper,and research on the high-speed AD conditioning circuit at the sametime.This work lays a solid foundation for the next work of the entire hardware circuit design.After designing hardware circuit of xilinx FPGA digital systems and researching its software development environment,we layout hardware circuitry system and PCB board.This work is basis on the practical projects and using Xilinx's XC2V1000-PQ575 type FPGA as the core processors of board design,programming logic function module to handle AD10200 sampling of high-frequency signals through the communication device transmits the processed data to the host computer,and using antifuse A54SX32A-PQ208 type FPGA as a watch-dog of the main processors.at the same time.In this work,we add other necessary equipments in the peripheral device.In the preliminary tests of the board level communication,we dsign serial communications test program module by using hardware description language(verilog HDL)and associate the Bit folder into the master Bit FPGA after synthesis,implementation by using Xilinx's ISE development tools.Finally,verify logic design by using communication application software serial debugging assistant.Test verified results achieve the basic requirements of practical project test phase.
