Optical Line Switching Technology And Its Applications In Jiangsu CATV Networks

The application of large capacity and long haul optical fiber transmission system provides a reliable transmission channel for a variety of commercial network services.With the continuous advancement of new IP based services and new applications,the reliability of optical transmission systems and the growing demand for protection technology.Once the fiber cable is broken or equipment failure and other failures occur and cannot be resolved in a short period of time to recover will lead to a very serious impact.In this paper,it is based on the planning,design and engineering of Jiangsu radio and television network SDH system and OLP system,and the OLP technology and its application are studied in detail.Analysis of optical line protection technology principle and main technology based on the theory,this paper analyzes the importance and urgency of the protection of the network,and introduces the principle of optical line protection and optical line protection equipment and its characteristics,combined with the actual situation of Jiangsu radio and television transmission network and business needs,design and analysis of Jiangsu radio and television network protection system of light wave line,and according to the analysis of the design results to complete the Jiangsu radio and television network optical line protection engineering design and calculation,the final project in the successful implementation of the optical line protection system.
