Study On Economic News In The View Of Eco-economic Ethics

Economic news is a very important part of news communication,playing a role in guiding the direction of economic and social development.Economic construction should be coordinated with the environmental protection,which is the consensus of people in today's society.Experts from various fields tried to sum up the contradiction and the relationship between economic construction and environmental protection,including from the ethical point of view,to promote ecological ethics principles and norms in the economic field.In this context,a large number of reports with the theme of "green economy"(ecological economy)appeared.This study tries to jump out of the regular view of economic news research and break the routine that news ethical research always pays more attention between people.From the perspective of eco-economic ethics,this study mainly explores the eco-economic ethics in economic news.Specifically,the issues to be discussed are when economic news relates to eco-economic themes what characteristics the contents show and with what specific eco-economic ethics principles,these principles how to be reflected in the text,what the communication strategy and so on.Based on the theory of eco-economic ethics,this paper takes 514 news from "Green Weekly" of "Economic Daily" from January 5,2016 to December 27,2016 as the samples.Because "Economic Daily" means the authority and credibility in national economic news press and "Green Weekly" is a special column of ecological economy report,which must contain a wealth of eco-economic ethics idea.Through the combination of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis,this study used ROST series content mining tool to do the content analysis of news from "Green Weekly".At the same time,qualitative analysis is carried out on this basis.The study found that,in the content analysis section,"Green Weekly" placed the contents of the ecological protection theme in the field of socio-economic activities,such as personal consumption activities,enterprise production,regional sustainable development,the official eco-economic policy-making and "green finance",in addition to "pollution prevention and control","resource conservation and biological protection" and other topics which general environmental news usually contain.As to the report objects,"Green Weekly"focuses on the level of enterprises and regions,as well as the macro-level government.The absolute focus of the region is the eastern region of China.The emotional tendency of report is positive.According to the analysis of the theme and retrospecting the text of the news,the study then sums up the three principles of eco-economic ethics embodied in "Green Weekly":the principle of green consumption,the principle of eco-economic efficiency and the principle of eco-economic justice.Research finally return to the persuasion techniques of"Green Weekly",including:paying attention to government officials and authoritative experts guidance as well as grassroots people's environmental education and social activities;capturing the current hot topics as well as exploring valuable news hiding behind significant events;using the past scene of complete devastation to highlight the good condition of today;using emotional appeal and humanistic color to deepen the effect of communication.
