With the continuous development of production technology,automatic tightening technology has been used more and more widely in the modernization of product assembly process.In this paper,the problem of the establishment and optimization of the detection model for the compressio n capacity of the sealing ring is studied based on the screw tightening.As for the tightening of the c ylinder,the compression of the sealing ring relates to the tightening quality of the cylinder,which is a direct reflection of the sealing effect.However,in the actual production process,seal ring's comp ression can not be directly measured due to the position of sealing ring which is between shell and e nd cover.Judging by rough methods or traditional experience,assembly quality can not be guarante ed.Therefore,it is necessary to establish a more effective sealing ring compression detection model and design the corresponding control system,so as to improve the effectiveness of the cylinder ass embly.In this paper,the mechanism and process of the screw tightening are studied,which can be di vided into two parts: the thread precession stage and the compression stage and the whole process i s analyzed in detail.The simulation results and the experimental data verify that the torque value an d the mechanism of the whole process.On the basis of the research on the mechanism of the cylind er's tightening,the key point of the detection model of the sealing ring is determined by the analysis of the torque value.At the same time,through the comparison of different modeling methods,the c lassification method of SVM is selected to judge the zero point of the cylinder,and the establishme nt of the detection model of the compression capacity of the sealing ring is completed.However,due to the effect of control precision of sealing ring compression during operation by tightening shaft screw speed,in order to reduce the error amount of compression of the sealing ri ng,as well as improve the efficiency by adjusting the spindle speed,spindle speed controller is desi gned to adapt to spindle speed based on the comparative analysis of the relationship between the tightening speed of the spindle tightening speed and the control precision of the compression of the sealing ring.In the actual production process,the cylinder has a variety of types,whose parameters are di fferent.In a consequence,the detection model and the fixed parameters of the screw shaft controller can not meet the needs of the cylinder type.The expert system which store the parameters of differ ent tube types is designed to solve this proble.When the system is running,the corresponding para meters are called to meet the requirements of the detection model and the tightening of the shaft co ntroller.Finally,automatic control system of the cylinder body is designed by combinating the model of the sealing ring,the tightening shaft controller and the expert system.The system uses host computer to manage the system data and the machine operation to control the processing.Which realizes the automatic assembly of the cylinder body through the coordination work between them.The control system has good control effect and stability,as well as meet the needs of field producti on.
