With the rapid development of modern manufacturing and logistics industry,how to realize the automation of material transportation,improve production efficiency,which has been become the focus of attention of enterprises.Currently,most of the enterprise's material transport is still using forklifts,rail cars,trolleys and other mobile devices or manual handling to complete,great labor intensity,high equipment investment,low production efficiency.Therefore,to design an automatic tracing car which is simple structure,safe and reliable,low manufacture and maintenance cost,can realize automatic guidance,can automatically complete material transportation work,that is of great significance to improve the degree of automation of material transportation and production efficiency.In this paper,various guidance methods,chassis structure,working environment,manufacturing cost,development cycle and other factors of tracing car are analyzed,the chassis structure design of rear wheel unilateral driving and front wheel unilateral steering is presented,the overall design scheme of automatic tracing car is determined.Using photoelectric guidance as a trace mode,the chassis mechanism,drive mechanism,steering mechanism and braking mechanism are designed,car body layout is also carried out.The entity model of each mechanism,car body model and motion simulation model are established by Pro/E,the motion simulation analysis is carried out,results show:when the tracing car moves in various road status,there is no interference phenomenon in mechanism,the rationality of the design of the mechanism is validated;by observing the motion trajectory curve,that are all less fluctuation,relatively smooth,the running stability of the tracing car is verified;discovering the motion simulation of bend:the right turn speed of the tracing car is higher than the left turn speed,the tracing car turn right were easy to offset track in the actual operation,in this paper,the control strategy of driving wheel speed set up by using motion simulation and experimental data is presented,through the combination of hardware and software,the problem of unequal left and right turningspeed is solved.the structural static analysis of the chassis is carried out by using ANSYS Workbench,results show: strength and stiffness of chassis structure can meet the requirements of the work,and has surplus amount.The response surface optimization method is used to carry out lightweight design of the chassis structure,optimization result:chassis quality has been reduced by 17.9%.The mathematical model of control system is established,fuzzy PID controller is designed,digital simulation analysis is carried out,results show:the steady-state error,overshoot and response time of the system meet the design requirements.The hardware and software design of the control system is completed,the experimental system is built,prototype was made,the experiment and debugging are carried out,results show,the tracing car runs smoothly,works reliably,has good control effect,can be used for material transportation.
