In November 2016,China Industrial Information Network released the "2017-2022 China Animation Film Market In-depth Research and Investment Prospects Analysis Report".The report pointed out that from 2011 to 2015,the total sum of domestic box office of domestic films increased by about 4 times,among which the domestic animation film box office increased from 300 million yuan in 2011 to 21 billion yuan in 2015,an increase of 7 times,much faster than the domestic film box office's overall growth.It's easy to see from the statistics that domestic animation film is taking up higher and higher proportion of domestic film,which also reflects the fact that animated film has been given more and more attention and welcomed by the audience.Nevertheless,the report also pointed out that imported animation films,represented mainly by European,American and Japanese animation films,is the main force of domestic animation box office box.Although the number of domestic animation film uploads is even twice or even several times that of imported animation film,there is still a certain gap in terms of the overall performance of the box office between domestic animation films and imported ones like European,American and Japanese animation filmsJapanese animation film is now the only eastern branch which is able to compete with the Western world.It is not only popular in Asia,but also has a great influence in Europe,America and even in the whole world.Japan and China are both oriental countries with similar cultural heritage.Learning from the successful experience of Japanese animation film is of great significant to the development of domestic animation film.Based on the theory of Intercultural communication and Communication,taking the cultural dimension theory proposed by Hofstede as the framework,and according to the present situation of Japanese animated film and the concrete statistical data does a detailed analysis of the typical cases by organizing the process of development of Japanese animated film,the characteristics and advantages of intercultural communication.It is concluded that the cultural values in Miyazaki's works reflect both collectivism and individualism,the degree of uncertainty and the degree of avoidance,the greater distance of power and the dominance of femininity.And then summed up Japan Animation film intercultural communication of the two major advantages,that is,the rational construction of cultural dimensions and cultural dimensions of the symbol transformation.In the cultural dimension of the rational construction,mainly embodied in the integration of values,the theme of the story fit the cultural common and apply the Western model to shape the characters;in the cultural dimension of the symbol transformation,mainly based on the national cultural characteristics,integration of multicultural Elements and details of the Japanese animation film style enhancement.Through the detailed analysis of the case,this paper summarizes the difference between the cultural values embodied in the Japanese animated film and the traditional Japanese cultural values under the cultural dimension,and explores the general charateristics of the success in the intercultural communication of Japanese animated films.From the re-positioning of the domestic animation film communication concept,multi-angle rich domestic animation film transmission elements and enhance the domestic animation film culture proximity,these three aspects of the lessons for our animation experience,to fill the domestic animation for the intercultural Dissemination of research deficiencies,I hope this research results on the future development of domestic animation film will be helpful.
