Design And Implementation Of The Enterprise Level Data Archive Management System For Blu-ray Optical Disc Library

With the development of the Internet,all of the enterprises data storage exploding,Blu-ray optical disc library because of the large capacity and long life has become a new storage device selection,but the traditional management system inefficient,and it can't meet the increasing of data archiving requirements,which has restricted the development of the enterprise.So it's desperately necessary to design a management system that can meet the demands of simple operation,high efficiency and large capacity data archive.The paper successfully designed and implemented data archive management system for Blu-ray optical disc library.The system chiefly consists of the magazine management module,volume management module,system management module and basic function module.The magazine as the most basic storage unit in the system,it has the advantages of large capacity,high speed and long life,very suitable for huge amounts of data archiving and management,in this module covers all basic operations of the magazine such as magazine loading and offline,change the magazine offline shelf and discard magazine;When the enterprise archive data exceeds a magazine capacity,puts forward the concept of the logical volume,it will combine multiple physical magazine,complete the large capacity data archive management.In the volume management module,administrator can be new,change,write protected,and finalize for volume;System module is based on the system management and the basic service setting;Basic function module is made up of top three modules work together to complete the burn and offline data query functions.At the same time,the system provides different access control for ordinary users,magazine administrators and system administrators of three main roles at the application level,it improves the convenience and security of the system.At present,the system has been successfully applied to the enterprise,and the feedback is very good.The system achieved system simple operation,finished the huge amounts of data archive management,reduced the human participation,saved production cost,helped enterprise to realize the automatic of system management,the systematic of magazine management and the clearer of authority assignment,improved the overall competitiveness of the enterprise.
