With the explosive increassemnt of data amount in information age, massive cold data archive storage becomes one of the most reliant basic technologies in data centers. With rapidly development of blu-ray disc technology, blu-ray disc library which can provide high volume and high reliability with low energy and financial cost becomes prime choice of massive cold data archive storage. In data centers based on blu-ray disc, the integrity and transmission performance of data becomes the most focused topic.To solve data transmission problems in optical library, this paper introduced an incremental data synchronization mechanism, improved data transmission performance and utilization rate of network bandwidth, designed a system architecture and method, achieved prototype system of data synchronization. This paper also presented a data block difference prediction algorithm, increased the efficiency of data synchronization scroll check, lowered time consumption of scroll check.Baesd on specific condition, implemtned the optical library incremental data synchronization system with five modules: user maintenance module, synchronization controll module, data synchronization interaction module, data block check mapping module and data transmission list processing module. Implemtned data block partition and data block checksum calculation, by checking data block two times with strong weak check and difference data prediction, identify and mark the different data block. Merging the identified data block and difference data to actual transmission synchronization data, achieved data synchronization between the cilent and server of optical library.
